Raising Maisie is a new pop act consisting of Max Langley (guitar/vox) Charlie Joseph (keys/vox) Tom Chilton (bass/vox) and Cookie (drums). The band met whilst studying at one of the nations leading music institutes, The British Institute Of Modern Music. Since July 2009 when the band formed they have been working hard at creating a fresh new pop sound. The group share a love in commercial music and strive to bring a new brand of mainstream music to the forefront of the music scene. Each band member has a distinctive taste in music highly differing from one another but Raising Maisie takes influence from The Beatles, Queen and many more. Bands that have invented pop devices that are still in use today and will forever stand in history. Max, Charlie, Tom and Cookie have all worked on serious music projects before and have been involved in major festivals, theatre and TV. Each member took their experiences and now pressing on what they learnt onto Raising Maisie to work at making the band a successful pop act.
